MICHELLE A. IURMAN is a professional Singer, Actress, Recording Artist, Songwriter, Director, Screenwriter/Writer, Vocal/Acting/Audition Coach, and Fundraiser. She has trained extensively in Vocal Performance in Classical Music, Musical Theatre, and Liturgical Music, as well as performed in various languages – Italian, French, German, Latin, and Spanish. MS. IURMAN is a former student of the illustrious St. Mary Choir & Orchestra School (formerly St. Peter’s Choir School), and aside from vocal performance studies, she also undertook piano, violin, drama, and theory lessons. She was accepted under the private tutelage of highly esteemed Vocal Professor (Emeritus) Alvin Reimer at Western University’s Don Wright Faculty of Music; with New York City’s Premier Vocal Coach, the late Shirley Callaway (mother of two Tony-Nominated singer/actresses, Liz Callaway and Ann Hampton Callaway), and with eminent Acting Coach, the late Alex McLachlin (formerly of Stratford Festival). She also studied tap and jazz at New York City’s renowned Broadway Dance Center.

MS. IURMAN has an Associate Diploma (A.Mus.) as a Pianoforte Performer from the Western Ontario’s Conservatory of Music in academic cooperation with the University of Western Ontario; she is a member of the Canadian Actor’s Equity Association (CAEA), and a member of the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN).

In New York City, MS. IURMAN worked for the Archdiocese of New York as the Outreach Coordinator for a Memorial Shrine Dedicated to Unborn Children under the direction of founder (the late) John Cardinal O’Connor, Archbishop of New York. She was a Cantor at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and performed in the Off-Broadway Musical Theatre Production The Story of Millicent. She also performed her own composition “Our Hearts All United – In God We Trust” at numerous 9/11 Memorials: at the official 9/11 site, Command Central; at the “Tribute to the Fallen” at Manhattan College in New York; and in Detroit, Michigan, for the Holy Trinity Apostolate, at the first benefit luncheon in memory of Father Mychal Judge, O.F.M., the beloved New York City Fire Department Chaplain, the first casualty of 9/11. She was also dubbed the “National Anthem Specialist” having regularly sung the national anthems for the Toronto Blue Jays at The Rogers Centre (formerly the Skydome), at the Queen’s Plate, where she gave a Royal Command performance for (the late) Princess Margaret, and in New York’s Madison Square Garden, Yankee Stadium, Shea Stadium, Giant Stadium, and Continental Airlines Arena in New Jersey.

In the Demo below, MICHELLE A. IURMAN was chosen to represent Canada, performing her own song “The Miracle Of Life” on the International Live Television Broadcast of the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon in California, that also featured celebrities such as Actor/Singer John Schneider, Singer Marie Osmond, Comedian & Impressionist Rich Little, American TV Personality Mary Hart, Singer Marilyn McCoo (The Fifth Dimension), Singer Tony Orlando, and Christian Recording Artist Michael W. Smith. The Demo also highlights some of MS. IURMAN’S multiple television and charity performances along with other celebrity appearances which include the Juvenile Diabetes Fundraiser with (the late) Actor Alan Thicke, Musician/Composer & Record Producer David Foster, Comedians Andrea Martin and (the late) Foster Brooks, and four-time World Skating Champion Kurt Browning for whom she wrote her original song “You Are A Champion.”

In Canada, MS. IURMAN wrote, produced, directed, cast, and starred in her own original musical theatrical production at the Grand Theatre. On With The Show, This Is It! was a huge hit with sold-out performances. She appeared, and wrote/interviewed a segment for the Documentary Film My Father and the Man in Black about the untold story of ‘bad-boy’ Johnny Cash, his talented but troubled manager, Saul Holiff, and a son searching for his father in the shadow of a legend. Producing her own Veterans CD – Lest We Forget – A Salute to All Veterans – to commemorate Canada’s Declaration of The Year of the Veteran, MS. IURMAN featured her own renditions of favorite songs from the war-time years from such luminary artists as the famous WWII singing trio of sisters, ‘The Andrews Sisters’ (“Bei Mir Bist Du Schöen”, “Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree” & “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy”), ‘The Forces Sweetheart,’ Vera Lynn (“White Cliffs of Dover” & “Bless ‘Em All”) and WW l singing star, Gracie Fields (“Wish Me Luck”). She also included her own original track set to Lt. Col. John McCrae’s famous poem “In Flanders Fields”, which has been recently published. The CD has received accolades from such dignitaries as (the late) Patty Andrews, from ‘The Andrews Sisters,’ highly decorated WW ll Veteran, (the late) Senator Bob Dole, His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent, and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll. The CD and her late mentor, Roman Catholic Military Chaplain, Fr. Joseph Lawrence Hennessey were MS. IURMAN’S inspiration in establishing and directing the highly successful grassroots not-for-profit organization We Remember With TLC Veterans Organization, to remember all Veterans whose sacrifices gave us our freedom.

MICHELLE A. IURMAN recently completed her Bachelor of Arts With Distinction in Film at Western University, specializing in screenwriting/writing. She was on the Dean’s Honour Roll each year, awarded a Continuing Academic Scholarship, and became the 2015 Gold Medal Recipient from all the faculties at Western University for “Achieving the Highest Average and Standards of Academic Excellence.” MS. IURMAN has her own successful private teaching practice and has taught workshops and classes specializing in Audition, Vocal Technique, Monologue Study, and Acting Songs for Performance in both the US and Canada to hundreds of aspiring performers. She founded St. Mary’s Family Theater, which provided quality family entertainment in films, modelled after the famous “Rosary Priest”, Venerable Father Patrick Peyton, whose mission of strengthening family life through family prayer of the Rosary led him to direct the first Rosary Crusade in the Diocese of London over 70 years ago that spread throughout the world and still includes work with Hollywood moguls and celebrities. Her latest project under her new company Full of Grace Productions, is a screenplay to be made into a feature film production of Father Patrick Peyton’s autobiography ALL FOR HER. MS. IURMAN will continue to educate, evangelize, and inspire through various mediums in the entertainment industry.
